The Adams County Tech Prep Consortium (ACTP) was formed in 1995. In 2020, we became Adams County Technical Institute. The consortium includes Bermudian Springs, Conewago Valley, Fairfield, Gettysburg, and Littlestown School districts. During the 2020-2021 school year, our career programs served over 200 high school students.
Post-Secondary opportunities are accomplished through articulation agreements (SOAR credits) for credit with area colleges and universities.
In April 2011, we reached a significant milestone by moving out of our rented space and into our new facility on the Gettysburg Area High School (GAHS) Campus. This new building houses Allied Health, Culinary Arts, Diesel Mechanics, and Law Enforcement programs. The Building Trades, Computer Networking, and Early Learning Programs are housed in GAHS
We are part of the TechLink-PA Group which serves career and tech centers in the south-central region.
In addition to creating talented members of the workforce, we partner with various Adams County businesses and organizations to offer internships and apprenticeships to our students.
