Assistant to the Administrative Director

Description: The Adams County Technical Institute is seeking a well-qualified, Assistant to the Administrative Director of Career and Technical Education Programs.  This is a full-time, 12-month, position beginning in July 2025.

The Adams County Technical Institute provides high-quality career and technical education programs to the students in five (5) school districts in Adams County – Bermudian Springs, Conewago Valley, Fairfield Area, Gettysburg Area, and Littlestown Area. A rich curriculum, facility and professional and support personnel promote the educational development of our students.

The Assistant to the Administrative Director must be able to effectively demonstrate leadership that supports the day-to-day aspects of the school organization to include attendance and student discipline, preparation of state and federal reports, oversight of all CTE grants, professional observations and evaluations, and overall school activities and functions. Creation of an enriching, safe learning environment for students while promoting positive public relations with parents, community, and local and regional businesses is essential.

A master’s degree and K-12 Principal Certification are required. Three (3) years of building-level supervisory experience in a K-12 public school or career and technical center is preferred.
